About the Opportunity

DMI is looking for an Electromagnetic Spectrum Support Lead to support a Department of Defense customer.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ability to demonstrate a complete understanding of frequency engineering, principles, theories, and concepts.
  • Be able to provide support services to technical solutions over a wide range of complex difficult problems in which proposed solutions are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives.
  • Provide detailed reports related to theater spectrum issues as required.
  • Candidate will be expected to participate in the evaluation of new spectrum management tools.

Qualifications

Education and Years of Experience:  : Bachelor’s degree or higher in Telecommunications Management or 7 years or more of similar training and/or experience in Spectrum Management.

 

Required Skills/Certifications:

  • Must be technically proficient in the primary the following spectrum management tools:
    • Spectrum XXI
    • Process supportability requests through the Host Nations Worldwide Spectrum Database Online (HNWSDO) and the Joint Spectrum Interference Reporting System Online (JSIRO).
    • Must possess a working Knowledge of ACES/JACS, SPEED, and RTSO software.
    • Must be familiar with spectrum analyzers such as the PR200 and Spectrum Guard Pro.
    • Must be familiar with CARS and possess working knowledge of the Joint Integrated SATCOM Tool (JIST) 

Desired Skills/Certifications:

  • COCOM or Service level Joint Frequency Management Office (JFMO) level experience.
  • Graduate of either U.S. DoD military frequency management school; Inter-service Radio Frequency Management School (IRFMS) at Keesler AFB, MS or Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations Course at Ft. Gordon, GA.
  • Graduate of a DoD approved Satellite communications course and the Advanced Communications Course at Quantico, VA.

Min Citizenship Status Required: US Citizen

 

Security Clearance Required:  Secret Clearance

 

Physical Requirements: No Physical requirement needed for this position.

Location: Humphrey’s AF Base, South Korea
