About the Opportunity

DMI, LLC is seeking a Mobile Device Engineer to join us.

 

Role Summary

The Mobile Device Engineer provides end-to-end deployment support of mobile devices for end users, performing initial configuration to conform with mobile device policy.

This role manages inventory control of mobile devices, supports other wireless devices as required, performs troubleshooting and incident resolution, and maintains mobile device compliance supporting the ISS2 PWS mobile device management requirements. It is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong professional who enjoys hands-on device management while ensuring security, compliance, and seamless user experience across enterprise mobile environments.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end deployment support of mobile devices to end users
  • Perform initial configuration of all mobile devices to conform with current mobile device policy
  • Maintain inventory control of mobile devices at specified levels
  • Support other wireless devices as required
  • Perform troubleshooting and incident resolution for mobile device issues
  • Manage mobile device enrollment and provisioning
  • Support iOS and Android platforms
  • Coordinate with carriers on device procurement and services
  • Document mobile device procedures and support activities
  • Track mobile device inventory and assignments
  • Support mobile application deployment

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience deploying mobile devices in an enterprise environment
  • Experience configuring and troubleshooting mobile devices
  • Knowledge of mobile device management (MDM) platforms
  • Understanding of iOS and Android operating systems
  • Familiarity with mobile security policies and compliance

Education & Substitutions

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent professional experience

Education substitutions accepted per contract guidelines:

  • No Degree: 2 additional years experience
  • Associate's Degree: 1 additional year experience
  • Bachelor's Degree: Meets baseline requirement
  • Master's Degree or PhD: No additional experience required

Preferred Skills

  • Apple Certified iOS Technician or similar certification
  • Experience with Intune, AirWatch, or similar MDM platforms
  • Knowledge of mobile application management (MAM)
  • Understanding of mobile security features and compliance
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for mobile devices
  • Good customer service and communication abilities

Background Requirements: Successful completion of a Public Trust background investigation and/or a Public Trust clearance.

 

Citizenship Status Required: Must be a U.S. Citizen
