About the Opportunity

Digital Management, Inc. (DMI) is seeking a Depot Team Lead to support its device provisioning and deployment operations. This position is responsible for providing day-to-day leadership to depot team members while coordinating project activities, maintaining project documentation, supporting device configurations, and ensuring shipping and receiving activities are completed accurately and on schedule.

The Depot Team Lead will serve as a key point of contact for the team and will work closely with internal stakeholders and T-Mobile Implementation Managers to support successful project execution, maintain effective communication, and ensure operational and client requirements are met.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide day-to-day leadership, direction, and support to depot team members to ensure project and operational priorities are completed accurately and on time.
  • Conduct and document monthly Candor Connects with direct reports to provide feedback, discuss performance and development, address concerns, and maintain open communication.
  • Train and cross-train team members on projects, device configurations, processes, and other depot responsibilities.
  • Assist in resolving team conflicts and operational concerns, escalating issues to management or Human Resources when appropriate.
  • Create, maintain, and organize comprehensive documentation for ongoing projects to ensure information is accurate and accessible to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Communicate project requirements, changes, priorities, and status updates to team members to ensure alignment throughout the deployment process.
  • Oversee assigned deployment projects, monitor progress, and ensure established timelines and project requirements are met.
  • Actively participate in device and project configurations to support accurate and timely completion of deployment activities.
  • Maintain effective communication with cross-functional teams and external project partners, including T-Mobile Implementation Managers, to coordinate activities, address issues, and support project success.
  • Receive incoming freight shipments, verify box counts, inspect shipments, and document damaged items, shortages, or discrepancies.
  • Prepare devices and equipment for deployment, including affixing batteries to device sleds and coupling protective sleds to devices as required.
  • Assemble or select appropriate shipping containers and package devices using spacers, fillers, protective padding, and other required materials.
  • Verify shipping information and affix appropriate shipping labels to packed cartons.
  • Scan completed containers and close shipping records within the inventory system.
  • Stage outgoing shipments for pickup by freight carriers.
  • Print Dymo labels and Zebra asset tags to support device identification, inventory management, deployment, and asset tracking.
  • Perform asset tagging, inventory counts, quality checks, and other depot-related assignments as needed.
  • Monitor workflow and identify potential delays, quality concerns, or operational issues that could impact project completion.
  • Support continuous improvement of depot processes, workflow, quality, and overall operational efficiency

Qualifications

Required Skills & Certifications: 

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in device provisioning, depot operations, shipping and receiving, logistics, inventory management, mobility services, or a related environment preferred.
  • Previous experience in a Team Lead, supervisory, or project coordination capacity preferred.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to coach, train, and provide direction to team members.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, quality, and meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with employees, leadership, cross-functional teams, and external partners.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Experience with device configuration, deployment processes, inventory systems, or asset management preferred.
  • Experience with Dymo and Zebra labeling equipment is a plus.

Citizenship Status Required: Must be a U.S. Citizen

 

Physical Requirements:

 

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
  • Ability to perform shipping, receiving, packing, staging, inventory, and other depot-related duties as required.

$61,600
