About the Opportunity

DMI, LLC is seeking a Unified Capabilities (UC) Support Personnel to join us. The Unified Capabilities (UC) Support Personnel will provide technical support, administration, and design expertise for Unified Capabilities systems and services supporting operations at Sagamihara General Depot (SGD), Japan. The position requires demonstrated experience administering or designing UC environments, including Unified Communications Manager, as well as the ability to support secure, mission-critical communications systems.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Administer, configure, and support Unified Capabilities (UC) systems and associated communications infrastructure.

  • Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot UC solutions in accordance with operational and security requirements.

  • Provide technical support for Unified Communications Manager and related UC technologies.

  • Diagnose and resolve system, network, communications, and connectivity issues.

  • Support the secure and reliable operation of UC services in a DoD environment.

  • Apply established cybersecurity, information assurance, configuration management, and operational procedures.

  • Perform other UC-related technical duties as required to support mission objectives.

Qualifications

Education and Years of Experience:  

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field may be waived for candidates who possess four (4) continuous years of experience performing Unified Capabilities tasks.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field
  • Demonstrated experience performing Unified Capabilities (UC) tasks for at least two (2) of the last four (4) years.
  • Experience administering or designing Unified Capabilities systems, including Unified Communications Manager.
  • Candidates must provide a resume/CV that clearly demonstrates the required UC experience, including at least two (2) of the previous four (4) years performing Unified Capabilities-related duties.
  • Relevant experience should include administration, design, configuration, troubleshooting, or support of UC systems and Unified Communications Manager.

Required Skills & Certifications: 

  • One or more applicable IT certifications, including:

    • DoD 8570.01-M / DoD 8140 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification; and/or

    • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.

  • Active SECRET security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET clearance.

  • Must understand basic Japanese
