This position is fully remote in EST working hours!    Duties and Responsibilities: - Legacy experience on different (and older) versions of the C# .Net framework and code. Thinkers required! - Experience with SOAP APIs required. - This team needs a "Problem solver" there will not be modernization in this team (another team is handling that for the immediate needs in the area). - Person needs to be skilled with marshalling XML and unmarshalling XML into the C # . Net framework. - Property /Casualty insurance experience is preferred and familiarity with ACORD XML is very desirable but not required. - This is not a role to influence changes, nor modernize, rather be sharp to work with the existing code - look for ways to improve the code when needed, if you have ideas raise them to the manager and Solutions Engineer for future considerations but immediate need is to support what is there, work within what is built and deliver strong for the users and partners. - Need strong Senior that likes to solve problems existing space. - Someone who is not looking to lead the team (that will not be the case here) but who is content to do great work, solve problems, offer ideas for consideration for the future but know that there isn't immediate modernization, or upgrades, or conversions in this particular team. - Deliver what the business needs in new product updates or product maintenance to keep the growth happening for this particular 3rd party book of business.
